At Live Move Be, we not only want to support individuals in their journey to wellness in mind, body, and soul through our fitness classes and other community offerings, but we also want to support other like-minded organizations in their mission to help enrich the lives of others in ways that they are uniquely positioned and gifted to do. It is our desire to come alongside other local nonprofits and community groups to support them in the good work they are also doing by initiating and organizing various opportunities for giving within our own fitness community.
Fall Caring Initiative: "Stock The Lounges"
A snack drive to suppport the teachers of Brookville Middle School
At LMB, we love our school teachers. That's why we offer our convenient and effective CircuitTrain classes during the school year at 4:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These time-efficient classes provide teachers, and anyone else looking for an "afterschool" class, to get a full-body workout in just 30 minutes!
But this year, we want to not just MOVE their bodies, but also FUEL their bodies with healthy snacks by stocking the teachers' lounge.
We will collect these snacks, or similar items, for the first 3 weeks of September:
Granola bars,
multigrain single size chip bags,
light popcorn,
soda water and bottled water,
trail mix,
protein bars,
dried fruit,
etc.
Then the 4th and final week, because we believe in moderation, we will also collect some "guilty pleasure" snacks: soda, candy, chocolate, and other "fun" snacks.
